How to Book a Visit
- Contact us with your care home name, address, and number of residents needing eye tests.
- We’ll send a simple consent form and resident eligibility list for completion.
- We propose a convenient date and time for the visit.
- On the day, staff provide brief resident history, assist residents into the exam area, and our team conducts tests.
- We leave exam reports, recommendations, and, later, deliver spectacles and fit them.

- Many residents are eligible for free NHS domiciliary eye exams; we help assess eligibility.
- For non-eligible residents, we offer a transparent private fee per visit.

Things to Note for Care Home Staff
- Ensure residents have current glasses, medication lists, and prior eye history available
- Provide a comfortable testing space with sufficient lighting and room
- Facilitate resident movement and positioning if needed
- Designate a staff contact on the day to liaise with the optometrist
- Keep the exam reports in each resident’s file and follow any environment / care recommendations
